Continuously improving sustainability

Inwido has initiated a group wide project with a common agenda to build sustainability into our business processes. The goal is to report according to GRI, (Global Reporting Initiative) on a C-level. The challenge is to create a way of working throughout our operations to develop our business and constantly improve. We need to work and think in a sustainable way in everything we do.

We have defined Inwido sustainability targets to meet stakeholder demands within the following three areas;

Sustainable products and businesses

Our goal is to use certified products and CSR criteria in procurement processes. The targets are specified as;

  • Using wood from sustainable forestry
  • Environmentally friendly materials
  • Sustainability criteria in production
  • Increase the number of environmentally certified brands and products

Safe and developing working environment

Within this area focus is on ensuring health and safety and building trust in Inwido. The targets are;

  • No work related accidents
  • Decrease sick-leave
  • Ensuring there is no non-compliance with Inwido ethical guidelines.

Decrease negative impact on the environment from production

The targets within this area focus energy efficiency, emission and waste.

  • Decrease energy consumption
  • Increase the use of recycled biofuel in our processes
